Environmental Policy

In today’s ecologically aware society, many customers prefer our environmentally friendly packaging solutions. From the 100% recycled paper which is both recyclable and biodegradable, to the shredder that converts waste corrugated boxes into packaging material to the 100% biodegradable air bags, our products add to your organisations’ green credentials.

This for us, as a global driver, will not only help to improve our environmental performance in our own operations but to do so by reducing costs and protecting the environment. Our core belief is that sustainability and innovation together will strengthen our organisation, ethically and universally, thus an opportunity for growth.

Supporting the Environment

Being environmentally aware about the diminishing amount of natural resources, adapting to climate change and taking an effective approach to waste management are our global goals to reducing harm to the environment. Within the Easypack organisation, these three factors can be achieved within our manufacturing operations, in the design and build of our products and in the volume of waste our products can be reduced down to once they are disposed of.

Easypack facts

All Easypack paper, both brown and white, is produced from 100% recycled material

Easypack's white paper is carbon neutral and has additional environmental benefits compared with brown, and can be recycled as many as eight times.

For the Cassette airbag system, we offer 100% biodegradable film as an alternative to plastic material. This is made from corn starch and fully compostable to EN 13432 standards: the material is completely assimilated by micro-organisms in the ground under the action of heat and moisture, and turned into organic compounds within 13 weeks.

All Easypack machines built after 1 July 2006 comply with the EU directive on Restriction of use of certain Hazardous Substances.
